An Empty Canvas

Sitting alone in a Darkened Corner,
I gazed @ an Empty Canvas that spilled;
Intuition from my Heart
I wanted to fill the colors of my Life,
but couldn't explain the Path.
Commanded to Solution,
After contemplating a span of my Past,
I experienced the damned Life;
and came to know the Reality -
There is nothing more than just
Blank as an Empty Canvas...

Suddenly I grew up with a thought about
The Existence that this Canvas had and that
A person can sketch anything on it -
never thinking about what that Canvas Wants.
Does it want to contemplate as they Want?
No, nobody Cares for that;
The only thing they Care about,
is their Own Fake Emotions.

I started feeling downhearted
for the poor Empty Canvas -
as poor as me.
Just with distinction that;
Poor Canvas can't verbalize which I can do,
but remain incapable to vocalize Emotions...

And so with Empty Determination,
My Life stays as Blank
as this Empty Canvas.

Gautam Adani felt safe in Taj toilet

AHMEDABAD: He is Ahmedabad's only dollar billionaire and much of his riches have come from Gujarat’s coast. As the chief of the country’s largest export house, who also runs the country’s biggest private port at Mundra in Kutch, nobody would value the importance of marine security more than Gautam Adani.

But life decided to still put him through an ordeal to reinforce this belief. Adani, the chairman of Adani Enterprises Ltd, was at The Taj in Mumbai on Wednesday. The gunfire started at around 9.50 pm when he was in a Taj restaurant, having dinner with the CEO of Dubai Ports, and saw the terrorists from 15 feet away. He also hid himself in the kitchen and the toilet for hours together before coming out safe at 8.45 am on Thursday.

Adani now knows for sure Gujarat needs to be on the alert, having a 1600 km coastline, within hand-shaking distance of Karachi. If Adani, Mukesh Ambani and Shashi Ruia today figure in the top-ten rich list, they have to thank the Gulf of Kutch where they have made massive investments and are getting handsome returns. Fine, we have the Indian Navy and coast guards but that is not enough protection against desperados.

What happened at the Gateway of India should only serve as an eyeopener. Despite the place being so crowded, the rubber boat just cruised to a stop at the jetty and out walked about 10 young men with bulky backpacks and walked nonchalantly towards their assigned targets, even as the local people just gaped at these smartly-dressed youngsters thinking they were regular college guys.

Gujarat may want to forgive and forget the 2002 riots and be lulled into complacency. But then, others believe the riots haven’t been avenged enough, even after July 26 serial blasts which killed 57 persons.

For a change, if Gujarat is not alert enough, terror could target an oil refining hub in Gujarat located just next door.

Some misses and some hits

I miss my country, her people, for whom I have lived
I miss my land, her roads, their bumps and twists
I miss my kinetic, her freedom, the noise and mis-starts

I miss my care, I miss my friends, I miss my family, that bought me smiles
I miss my laze, I miss my summers, I miss my attitude, that wastrels

I miss my wind, the kites, the sun and the nights, those drama-kings and nerds
I miss my food, the taste, the spices and the freedom, aah manek-chowk

I miss myself, my life! that country, her people

THOUGHTs

Why I born in this world? What is the value of my life? Why should I do things like this? Am I really made for this would?

These are the questions which torment the common man throughout the life. One always tries to solve the puzzle of ones life.

Let’s start with the born. From the first day of one’s life on earth, he feels like incarcerate in terms of thoughts, action & behavior. Like one is depended on other for all its work. In childhood always people around told for do’s & don’t, in which his personal wing & ambitions dies. But in all difficulties living is our destination, so man continues living.

After some years, the man has his own evolution and wants to be the coxswain but knowingly or unknowingly. He is the player of someone else team and working under superiors and only dreams left within. In rate of being coxswain, he tries to do things bohemian due to which the mind of person turns to inexorable with some more disaster in his life. The man completes his study and when the job opportunity comes, he dissatisfied with job & future growth in his own nation so he tries to be expatriate. Once he gets the success in this life & enough wealth, he will repatriate, to admire pulchritude and after all settled with a happy marriage life. So after marriage, he introduces the new coxswain of his life to achieve new goals and fulfill his marriage life.

So now some history repeats itself. Now after some times he feels like incarcerate by his wife. Now due repeated failure in his own action, of being bohemian, leads to become ritualistic & kills his gumption.

So with the ends still the puzzle unsolved as during the way of solution, he lost in his way, by worlds persecution and own temptation.

So the mystery remains unsolved and at the end of his life still he thinks the questions he asked.

INDIAN COW..

HE IS THE COW. "The cow is a successful animal. Also he is 4 footed,And because he is female, he give milks, but will doso when he is got child. He is same like-God, sacred to Hindus and useful toman. But he has got four legs together. Two are forward and two are afterwards. His whole body can beutilized for use. More so the milk. Milk comes from 4taps attached to his basement. Horses don't have anysuch attachment. What can it do? Various ghee, butter, cream, curd, whyand the condensed milk and so forth. Also he is usefulto cobbler, water mans and mankind generally. Hismotion is slow only because he is of lazy species. Also his other motion.. gober is much useful to trees, plants as well as for making flat cakes (like Pizza) ,in hand , and drying in the sun. Cow is the only animal that extricates his feedingafter eating. Then afterwards she chew with his teethwhom are situated in the inside of the mouth. He isincessantly in the meadows in the grass. His onlyattacking and defending organ is the horns, speciallyso when he is got child. This is done by knowing hishead whereby he causes the weapons to be paralleled tothe ground of the earth and instantly proceed withgreat velocity forwards. He has got tails also, situated in the backyard, butnot like similar animals. It has hairs on the otherend of the other side. This is done to frighten awaythe flies which alight on his cohesive body, thereuponhe gives hit with it. The palms of his feet are soft unto the touch. So thegrasses head is not crushed. At night time have posesby looking down on the ground and he shouts . His eyes and nose are like his other relatives. This is the cow......."

Woodchuck chucking Wood

How much wood woul a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

This is difficult to question answer. The amount of wood that woodchucks would chuck on a given day varies greatly with the individual woodchuck. According to a Wall Street Journal article, New York State wildlife expert Richard Thomas found that a woodchuck could chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equal to 700 pounds.

Some say it depends on three factors:

  • The woodchuck's desire to chuck said wood.

  • The woodchuck's need to chuck the aforementioned wood.

  • The woodchuck's ability to chuck the wood.

Others say:

  • He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

  • If he could chuck wood, the woodchuck would chuck as much as he could!

  • A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

  • A woodchuck would chuck all the wood that the woodchuck would chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

  • If a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would and should chuck wood. But if woodchucks can't chuck wood, they shouldn't and wouldn't chuck wood. Though were I a woodchuck, and I chucked wood, I would chuck wood with the best woodchucks that chucked wood.

  • If a woodchuck could chuck wood, then s/he'd chuck all the wood, s/he'd chuck and chuck and chuck and chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

  • It would chuck the amount of wood that she sells seashells on the seashore divided by how many pickles Peter Piper picks.

  • One quarter of a sycamore if you give him a quarter for every quarter of the sycamore he cut.

  • It might depend on how many female woodchucks were present. Or, it could depend on whether the woodchuck's mother-in-law was around or not. If she was, he'd be chucking all day. If not, he'd be watching the football game.

  • Some maintain that woodchucks could not and would not chuck wood at all.

  • It depends on how good his dentures are!

  • A woodchuck, would chuck, as much wood, as a woodchuck, could chuck, If a woodchuck could chuck wood. But unfortunately, woodchucks do not chuck wood.

  • About 5.72 fluid litres of wood

  • About as many boards as the Mongol hoards would hoard if the Mongol hordes did hoard boards.

  • Um....... 23????

  • Tons. More than you can count. Honestly. No one can chuck more would than a woodchuck.

  • If the woodchucks name was Maurice, then it could chuck all the wood that it wants to. However, if its name is Frank, no chucking would be for it.

  • Due to the average size of a wood chuck and the general density of wood (not including cork) if a wood chuck could chuck wood it would probably get through about 6.573 pounds per day, assuming the wood chuck is functioning correctly.

  • Using the formula: (W + I) * C where W = the constant of wood, which is well known to be 61, as agreed in many scientific circles. I = the variable in this equation, and stands for the word "if" from the original problem. As there are three circumstances, with 0 equaling the chance that the woodchuck cannot chuck wood, 1 being the theory that the woodchuck can chuck wood but chooses not to, and 2 standing for the probability that the woodchuck can and will chuck wood, we clearly must choose 2 for use in this equation. C = the constant of Chuck Norris, whose presence in any problem involving the word chuck must there, is well known to equal 1.1 of any known being, therefore the final part of this calculation is 1.1. As is clear, this appears to give the answer of (61 + 2) * 1.1 = (63) * 1.1 = 69.3. However, Chuck Norris' awesome roundhouse kick declares that all decimal points cannot be used in formulas such as this, and so it must be rounded to the final solution of 69 units of wood.

Importance of Marine Industry Markets to National Economies

There have been few attempts to measure the markets for marine industries and their economic importance to nations. One of the problems is that of definition - what precisely constitutes a marine industry? Segmentation of the markets may be of use to researchers in other countries. Research was carried out on the UK economy in 1996 using 1994 statistics. This shows that although the marine industries are not independent of each other, the summed total of turnovers are of the order of £46 billion (US$74bn). Jobs created, both direct and indirect are calculated at 782,000 (or 3.6% of total UK employment). The value added to the economy is estimated at £27.5 billion (US$44bn), that is 4.7% of UK GDP. Identified exports exceed £12 billion (US$19bn) which equates to 9% of UK exports. Five markets account for 94% of the summed turnover of the UK marine Industries. These are oil and gas, leisure, shipping, defence, fish, insurance, submarine telecoms. Marine related activity of government departments totals some £6.1 billion (US$9.8bn), that is 13% of the above, and generates over 83,000 jobs. The GDP of the UK marine industries are 68% greater than the electricity, gas and water supply industries (£15.4 bn) 55% greater than the manufacture of food and beverages (GDP £16.7 bn) nearly twice that of the financial companies and institutions (GDP £13.2 bn).

Role of the Market

"We can make market forces work better for the poor if we can develop a more creative capitalism -- if we can stretch the reach of market forces so that more people can make a profit, or at least earn a living, serving people who are suffering from the great inequities. We also can press governments around the world to spend taxpayer money in ways that better reflect the values of the people who pay the taxes.

"If we can find approaches that meet the needs of the poor in ways that generate profits for business and votes for politicians, we will have found a sustainable way to reduce inequity in the world. Now, this task is open-ended. It can never be finished. But a conscious effort to answer this challenge can change the world."

Words by B.V. Doshi

There are very few people you find anywhere who will talk about matter in spiritual terms. Nothingness matter to him. Silence matter to him. The enigma of light matter to him. So those are not normal discourses. BUt these were the ones which we like then you talked about it. and when somebody understands these, he can not be an ordinary person; he had to be highly cultivated soul whom we called Guru/ Yogi. and that is why I think for us he was from here. I have a feeling that he was really reaching spiritual recognition /understanding.

In INDIA we always say that nobody dies they go for the next world. It s a transition. The body dies, the soul doesnt die. The consciousness doesnt die. have reached the stage of superconsciouness where for him everything is alive, everything is in the stage of transformation. you were waiting for him to come back. he has not come back yet. but he was there watching, blessing and wishing.
If you will go in silence you will hear him.
